LU Genshu,Director, Professor, Ph.D.

LU Guenshu received his Ph.D. in economics of education from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1999. He currently serves as a Ph.D supervisor, a professor in education, the director of the West China Higher Education Evaluation Center and the Institute of Higher Education at Xi’an Jiaotong University. Prof. Lu is a recipient of the ‘New Century Excellent Talent Scheme’ initiated by the Ministry of Education China, and Shaanxi ‘Humanities and Social Sciences Youth Talent Plan’. Prof. Lu is a member of the Learning Science Advisory Board of the Ministry of Education China, vice-chairman of the Learning Science subcommittee of the China Association of Higher Education, vice-chairman of the Higher Education Committee of the Chinese Society of Educational Development Strategy, standing director of the committee of Educational Economics of the Chinese Society of Education, and standing director of the Higher Education committee of the Chinese Society of Education. Prof. Lu received over 60 research grants at provincial and national levels, including grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National Social Science Foundation of China. Prof. Lu has published over 200 research articles, and over 20 academic and teaching reference books. Prof. Lu has won over 10 prizes and awards, including the teaching achievement award of Shaanxi province, the second- and third- prizes of the outstanding achievement award for research in philosophy and social sciences in Shaanxi province, and the third-prize of the national educational research outstanding achievement award. Prof. Lu has research interests in economic study of educational policies, college learning theories and approaches, and evaluation in higher education.

XU Fei，Deputy Director, M.S.

XU Fei received her Master's degree in software engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2010. She serves as the Deputy Director of the West China Higher Education Evaluation Center and Shaanxi province Higher Education Data Center. She has research interests in educational big data analysis, database and information technology. She is mainly responsible for the development of data resources, information system and data analysis.

WEI Hua，Administration Chief, Ph.D.

WEI Hua received her M.A. degree in Linguistics of Foreign Languages and Applied Linguistics from the Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2004, and is a doctoral candidate in the School of Marxist Studies of Xi’an Jiaotong University. She assists the Director and the Deputy Director of WCHEEC in the daily administration of the center. WEI Hua has research interests in Marxist theories, comparative philosophy and philosophy of education, and led 3 research projects at the university level and participated in several research grants at provincial levels. WEI has published over 2 research articles in China’s core journals.

NIU Menghu,Research Assistant, Ph.D.

NIU Menghu received his Ph.D. in Higher education from the East China Normal University in 2016. He currently serves as an Assistant Research Fellow of the West China Higher Education Evaluation Center and the Institute of Higher Education at Xi’an Jiaotong University. Menghu Niu participated several research grants at provincial and national levels, including grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National Social Science Foundation of China. Menghu Niu has published over 10 research articles. Menghu Niu has research interests in doctoral education quality, higher education evaluation theories and approaches.

JIA Xiaojuan,Research Assistant, Ph.D.

JIA Xiaojuan received her Ph. D in basic psychology from Shaanxi Normal University. She currently serves as an Assistant Research Fellow of the West China Higher Education Evaluation Centerand the Institute of Higher Education, Xi'an Jiaotong University.Dr. Jia has research interests in educational psychology,higher education, creativity and thinking ability, especially the evaluation and cultivation of creativity, neural plasticity mechanisms of creativity. Most papers were published inThinking Skills and Creativity,The Journal of Creative Behavior,Creativity Research Journal,Psychology of Aesthetics, Creativity, and the Arts, and so on. As a core member, Dr. Jia won the first prize of the teaching achievement award of Shaanxi province, and the first prize of science and technology award of Shaanxi province, ranking second and seventh, separately.

LI Zhenyan，Research Assistant, M.S.

Li Zhenyan achieved her Master's degree in Computer Science and Technology at Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2015. She currently serves as a Research Assistant in the West China Higher Education Evaluation Center at Xi'an Jiaotong University, meanwhile she is working on her doctorate degree.She has research interests in educational big data analysis, college graduate employment quality, and evaluation in higher education.

LI Yunfu,Research Assistant, Ph.D.

Li Yunfu, Ph.D. in Education, Associate Researcher at the China Western Higher Education Evaluation Center (Higher Education Research Institute) of Xi'an Jiaotong University, and Full time Researcher at the Shaanxi Higher Education Evaluation Research Center, a key research base for philosophy and social sciences in Shaanxi (universities). He mainly engages in research work in the fields of higher education evaluation and educational digital reform.
